What is BitTorrent?

How to use Transmission?

Next, click on File -> Open select the file and choose a folder in the Destination folder section, click on Open again, the download will start afterward. Just keep in mind that you will be uploading the file you download to others at the same time.

Another way is by adding the URL for the torrent file by going to File -> Open URL, then the software will add the tracking information itself and start downloading immediately.

Transmission allows users to limit download and upload speed by clicking the settings icon on the left lower corner then selecting Limit Download speed orLimit Upload Speed accordingly.
